Teens, Parents, and the Law (TPAL) works in concert with existing programs to strengthen families through law-related education. This program complements programs for young parents and at-risk teens by providing the missing links - knowledge about the law and community resources and the skills to strengthen families.
The TPAL program works to:
- Develop resiliency skills and linking participants to supportive community resources
- Provide information about the law which is typically missing in existing programs
Offered in Schools
TPAL is currently offered in Mills County Alternative Schools and community leaders are actively involved in helping facilitate the program and build a positive relationship with youth in a supportive manner.
