Severe Weather Awareness Week

Every year, thousands of people are impacted by severe weather threats such as tornadoes and severe thunderstorms. Preliminary data for 2016 shows there were more than 458 weather-related fatalities and nearly 1,300 injuries across the country.

Every year in partnership with the State of Iowa and the National Weather Service Mills County has conducted a Severe Weather Awareness Week.
